Stroman is the best pitcher pitching in this game however the Red Sox are the better team.80%

Stroman has one of the best ground ball rates in the game and I think he's a great pitcher. Some people will look at his record and see he's 1-6 but the guy can't help that his team never gives him run support. The sox are coming into tonight hot but I think Stroman has seen them enough that he will limit damage. On the other side Rodriguez has looked great his last two starts and what did I say about stroman being 1-6? His team sucks and never scores so i like the under today. Rodriguez can be wild at time but I'm going to hope his recent form stays true because the only thing that I'm worried about is him beating himself. This total has already dropped a little but I still like the under a lot

Stroman has been off for most of May but I like the Jays on F5. In his last outting he went a strong 6 surrendering just 1 ER. He will need to pitch around Boegarts. Rodriguez is coming off his worst start since early May and it was at home against Colorado where he allowed 9 Hits and 5 Earned Runs in 6 IP. They haven't lost a start of Rodriguez's since early April and I just don't think he is that type of talent, nor is the Sox Pen.70%

Love the Sox here. I think this is where they can get hot and start rolling some teams. Starting with the Jays. Boston has won each of the last 16 games in which it scored at least five runs; it had previously been 4-5 in such contests this season. With Mondays win the Red Soxwho were held to a total of eight runs while dropping two of three to Houston in their previous seriesimproved to 12-5 while outscoring their opponents 116-57 this month. Bogaerts (11-for-31, two homers) and Moreland (5-for-13) have tormented Stroman. Boston is 40-16 in Rodriguezs last 56 starts, 21-8 in its last 29 at Toronto, and 5-0 in Rodriguezs last five starts in this head-to-head series. The Blue Jays are 17-42 in their last 59 against right-handed starters, 10-28 in the last 38 meetings between the two teams, 1-5 in Stromans last six starts against the Red Sox, and 1-4 in his last five home starts against the Red Sox. I know that was a lot of statistics but all of them are pointing in the Red Sox favor. Don't overthink this and take the Sox60%

Boston Red Sox (70% consensus). The Boston Red Sox's recent offensive resurgence hit a bit of a lull over the weekend, but it returned in full force in the opener of a four-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Red Sox hope to carry over the momentum generated from their fourth double-digit offensive output in less than three weeks on Tuesday, when they play the second contest of the four-game set in Toronto... http://bit.ly/2GgBwAC

The Joy of Sox: G48: Blue Jays 10, Red Sox 3
The Red Sox squandered scoring chances all evening, hitting into three double plays in the first six innings, and leaving a total of 10 men on base. Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman (6-5-1-6-4, 105) gave up five hits and six walks in six innings, but the only run he allowed came on a solo home run. In fact, all of Boston's three runs came on solo dongs.
Eduardo Rodriguez (5-6-6-3-5, 95) fell apart in the fourth inning. Vladimir Guerrero singled and, one out later, Rowdy Tellez and Randal Grichuk hit back-to-back home runs. EdRo then walked Freddy Galvis before getting out of trouble .
Over the Monster: Red Sox at Blue Jays lineup: Our first look at the next 10 years
The Red Sox (25-22) look to continue their hot hitting north of the border tonight when they face Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the Blue Jays (19-28) tonight at 7:07 p..m.
Eduardo Rodriguez starts for the Sox against righty Marcus Stroman, who's been quite good this year (2.95 ERA) and is very good on Twitter. Despite the lefty/righty matchup, the struggling Steve Pearce playing first and batting ninth, likely because there isn't a tenth place to put him, with J.D. Martinez still on the shelf.
Over the Monster: Red Sox 12, Blue Jays 2: Sox celebrate Victoria Day with a blowout
It was a happy Victoria Day for the Red Sox, who opened this four-game set in Toronto with a bang. David Price made his return from a short stint on the injured list and looked mostly good. He was a little off with his command early on and was punished with a home run, though the runs were unearned. He settled in as the day moved on, though, and retired the last ten he faced. The lefty was lifted early as Alex Cora tried to take it easy on his starter in his first game back from the IL.
