Tigers are downright awful. Norris is not a bad pitcher by any stretch but he's a lefty pitcher and guess who rakes lefties? That's right, the Oakland A's.. on top of that, Montas is one of the A's more consistent and reliable starting pitchers so taking both things into consideration, this is a no-brainer for me.. gimme the A's and I'll even take em on the RL.

This Tigers team is in shambles and falling apart fast. While they got absolutely smacked yesterday, I don't think they will get demolished like that again I do think they lose but 3-4 runs. Months has been solid for the A's all year and should continue to roll right through this tigers line up. Daniel Norris also has been pretty decent this year. While he has been decent I don't see him getting enough run support to win this one. Take the A's

Detroit -- OK, that's not exactly the Toledo-to-Detroit pipeline Tigers fans had in mind.
Chris Bassitt, who was born in Toledo and who grew up in nearby Genoa, pitched eight brilliant innings in front of a rowdy cheering section of friends and family behind home plate, and the Athletics hit five monstrous home runs in blitzing the Tigers, 17-3, on an otherwise glorious Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park.
It was the A's 12th consecutive victory over the Tigers, a streak that dates to May 2017.
