Sabathia and Pena aren't really forces to fear but have you looked at the lineups these teams are putting out? I think there is a reason this total is low and I know people are on the over but I think this game goes under. Sabathia isn't nearly what he used to be but his soft contact rate is amazing. I just don't see a high scoring affair taking place tonight so under 8 for me50%

This Yankee version of the replacements has performed quite well for the Bronx while the star power gets healthy. On the road, they're 4th in the league in OPS and the Angels pitching has proved to be bottom tier so I am personally expecting a sweep. Despite mostly consisting of Right handed Bats, LAA is 28th in the league in OPS vs LHP's and Sabathia has looked great so far this season. The Angles are 1-7 vs. LHP this season.

New York Yankees (66% consensus). CC Sabathia is six strikeouts away from becoming the 17th pitcher in baseball history to record 3,000 as he takes the mound for the New York Yankees against the host Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday in the third contest of their four-game series. Sabathia is looking to join Randy Johnson (4,875) and Steve Carlton (4,136) as the only left-handers to reach the historic milestone... http://bit.ly/2Hiza0y

Pinstripe Alley: Yankees survive a near-implosion in 7-5 win over Angels
The RailRider-themed Yankees keep finding ways to win ballgames. They also keep finding ways to bring unnecessary amounts of tension into games. Chad Green had an adventure on the mound, and nearly blew the game single-handedly, but the Yankees managed to reel things in just in time to preserve a 7-5 victory.
Green entered the game in the seventh inning and managed to pick up a groundball out to strand a runner and close the book on a stellar performance from starter Domingo German. The Yankees' bullpen had been somewhat depleted already in this series, so Green was left out for the eighth inning to hold a 7-1 lead.
River Avenue Blues: Yankees 7, Angels 5: Another messy night for the bullpen, but still a fifth straight win
This game should not have been as close as it was, but sometimes things don't according to plan, and they didn't Tuesday night. The Yankees survived a near bullpen collapse to pick up their fifth straight win and seventh win in their last ten games. Remember when Anaheim was a house of horrors? The Yankees have won nine of their last dozen games in LAnaheim. Tuesday's final score was 7-5.
Two Early Runs
For the fifth time in the last six games, the Yankees banked a first inning run Tuesday night.
