Did the Hawks just flop in game 2 or was it the Bucks suffocating defense? I'm personally not looking too much into the Game 2 blowout and looking at Atlanta's overall resume. The Hawks have performed at an elite level for more than three months, and they have one of the most valuable players in the playoffs in Young. The Hawks matchup well against the Bucks and they have their deeper bench. I predict the Hawks put up a better fight tonight and this one comes down to the final minutes....I want the points in my pocket. BOL!
This is a good spot for Dallas. The rest split is additionally important considering Doncic and Porzingis rested in the Mavs’ previous game. Denver played last night and Nuggets Jokic is questionable.
The Suns have a better cover percentage than everyone but the Utah Jazz this season at 65.6%. Peculiarly, every straight-up result has matched the ATS result. In every win this season, the Suns have covered the spread. In every loss, they have failed to cover the spread. This is now a 32-game trend. The Wolves not only have lost their last seven games, but they have also failed to cover the spread as well.
The Patriots stayed on the West Coast after beating the Chargers. The Rams are home after a nice road victory against the Cardinals. The Rams defense will make it tough for Cam Newton and the Pats offense, which is limited. This will be low scoring, but the Rams will win it.
So many people think that this game is going to be close, but I just don’t see it. North Carolina’s defense allied over 50 to Wake Forest and the Demon Deacons only with their offense was as good as ND’s. North Carolina will try and pressure the middle of offensive line and take advantage of two new Irish starters but they will hold up and guys like Ian Book, Kyren Williams and Javon McKinley are going to have career days.
On the other side of the ball Sam Howell and Co. will still be able to rack up yards and will even find the end zone a few times, but I have faith that after a week of rest the Irish defense will be looking to make believers out of the doubters. I think the defense will come up with enough stops to end this one early. I see the Irish coasting by the fourth quarter. I predict Notre Dame wins a 45-35 type of game.
