Happ is right where I thought he'd be for this time of year. I do think he will start getting better as the season develops. I wish he were a 7 innings type guy but maybe later. I feel bad for pitchers like Junis and Sale, they are pretty good with no backup and the same problem exist for him today. I think New York clears this but we should have some runs.

Looking at this pitching matchup you would think it would be obvious to take the Pirates and I don't see it being that simple. The Pirates are simply struggling putting runs up. I'll stay with the under today.

DuRapau has barely gotten his feet wet and has been touched. I am not necessarily a fan of Gray either who does throw hard and gets a lot of strike outs but he fades very quick but he should have enough to get past a Pirates team that is simply not hitting well at all.

Both of these teams are doing there absolute best to keep their heads above water. They have some of the pieces that will serve them well later down the road like Bassitt for Oakland. He has the numbers 1.93 ERA WHIP 1.1 his S/O is at 7.3 if he can keep this up he'll be having a special year. I think him and the A's steal another away from Cleveland.
