    That's right, USF wanted Bama, and the two schools have agreed to play a three-game series beginning in 2023. The first game will be in Tampa, with the next two in Tuscaloosa in 2024 and 2026.

    By now the initial shock, excitement, and giddiness is wearing off from the biggest scheduling announcement USF has ever made.

    Senior D'Angelo Ennis (Kingston, Jamaica) earned a spot at the meet by ranking 10th in the East Region in the triple jump with a top distance of 52-6.

    TAMPA, MAY 14, 2019 - USF Vice President of Athletics Michael Kelly today announced an agreement with the University of Miami to play a three-game football series starting in 2025, bringing the Bulls' scheduled non-conference games vs. Power 6 opponents to 14 over the next 10 seasons.

    The Bulls and Hurricanes will play a pair of games at Hard Rock Stadium (65,326) in Miami Gardens, beginning the latest series on Sept. 13, 2025 and closing the three-game series on Sept. 9, 2028. The Hurricanes will return to Raymond James Stadium on Sept.

    WICHITA, Kan., MAY 12, 2019 - D'Angelo Ennis captured his second straight triple jump title and Stone Baker placed second in the pole vault Sunday afternoon at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships from Cessna Stadium.

    Ennis (Kingston, Jamaica) leaped a distance of 52-06.75 to record his best distance of the season, earn all-conference honors and become the first back-to-back triple jump winner in AAC history. His victory also gives USF the triple jump champion in four of the first six years of league existence. USF great Matthew O'Neal won the title in 2014 and 2016.

    The American Athletic Conference announced tonight that the softball tournament has been canceled due to the horrendous weather that impacted Houston over the weekend. As a result, no tournament champion will be crowned and USF softball earns The American's NCAA Tournament auto-bid as the top remaining seed.

    "First and foremost, our thoughts are with all of the people in the greater Houston region who are dealing with this extreme weather," said American Athletic Conference commissioner Mike Aresco. "We regret that our student-athletes were not able to enjoy a traditional championship experience this season, but the safety of our student-athletes remains our first priority.

    WICHITA, Kan., MAY 10, 2019 - Sophomore Brittany Krug (Loretto, Pa.) scored five points and posted the third-longest outdoor javelin throw in school history Friday afternoon to highlight competition for USF at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships from Cessna Stadium.

    Krug turned in a fourth-place finish and registered a new personal best with a distance of 151-09.00, surpassing her previous top distance of 151-07.00 by two inches.

    "Scoring points means a lot because it's not only an individual event, but it's a team event as well," Krug said. "I was honored to have my team behind me and to hear them cheering me on.

  • Voodoo Five: Texas Doesn't Want to Face USF Football in Tampa, Gives $1.9 Million for 2020 Game Instead to Cancel Final Two Games

    The Texas Longhorns have backed out of a three-game deal with the South Florida Bulls today, reports indicate. Instead, the Bulls will receive a program record $1.9 million for traveling to Austin in 2020 over Labor Day weekend.

    Both teams originally signed the deal in 2014 under completely different management at both schools. USF head coach Charlie Strong was the head coach at Texas at the time.
