I like the Maple leafs in this spot actually. I know how good Vegas is at home but I dont see them stopping this Maple Leafs team. Toronto Frederik Andersen, who made 36 saves in his last meeting versus the Golden Knights, has stopped 133 of 143 shots during his four-start winning streak. The Maple Leafs are 4-0 in their last four against winning opponents, 5-0 in their last five on the road against opponents with winning home records, 7-0 in their last seven that are the fourth of a four games in six days situation, and 22-6 in their last 28 after scoring at least five goals in their previous outing.

  • Fansided: Toronto Maple Leafs: Game Day Headlines vs Vegas

It's going to be a late one tonight, folks. The Leafs will take on the quietly thriving Golden Knights tonight at 10:00 PM EST - a start time which, in all honesty, should be illegal.

Nevertheless, it'll be an intriguing test for a Leafs team that's won 6 of their last 8 and appears to be rounding into form. After a thoroughly subpar month of January, Toronto is now one of the hottest teams in the NHL and, recent success aside, will need all the points they can get with Boston nipping at their heels behind them in the standings.

  • Review-Journal: GAME DAY: Golden Knights try to halt home skid vs. Maple Leafs

The Golden Knights look to snap a four-game home losing streak Thursday when they play the Toronto Maple Leafs on Valentine's Day at T-Mobile Arena.

Opening faceoff is 7 p.m., and the game will be televised on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain.

"They're a skilled and talented hockey team and they can score a lot of goals on your if you don't play the right way," coach Gerard Gallant said. "They're a high-flying team and you've got to be aware, and you've got to manage the puck real well."

The Knights (31-23-4, 66 points) have not won at home since Jan.
