Well weather certainly hasn't been an issue like predicted. I would lean Indy 2nd half but the Chiefs offense looks unstoppable. I'll pass.

I like Colts second half, cant imagine a repeat of that 1st half

Will someone let the Colts know the game started.

  • Patrick Mahomes is a unique talent that simply likes to play the game of football and now hes on the big stage and it's his time to shine. The weather isn't going to phase him, look for the Chiefs to attack early and often.

My Pick: Kansas City -5.5 70%

Luck is a competitor and if it's close, and it should be, he is one of the best at pulling off the upset. Mahomes is a good quarterback and possibly the MVP this season but I've seen him fall in the 2 biggest games he has had this season and I expect the same today.

Money keeps rolling in on Indy. So I am switching my gears. While I thought originally this line was too high on the Chiefs and that Luck and Co. can compete in a shootout, I'm beginning to think, you shut down Ebron as a security blanket, keep a Safety overtop for Hilton and this Offense suddenly seems like the type that can't keep up with the headache that is one of Andy Reid's most fascinating creations in his illustrious career. It's been a heck of a ride for Indy this year and hats off but Andy Reid isn't messing around as he's been one-n-done'd way too many times in his career. KC covers and we go over in late 4th quarter on a meaningless TD from Indy. KC 33- 24.

My Pick: Kansas City -5 & Over 56

Yup and the line keeps moving. Trying to get KC at 3 Under 57

  • @JohnWilks • 5m

I know everyone is in love with KC and they are America's sweetheart. But There is no denying how well the Colts have been playing and they have a stout D. As we have seen over the years defense seems to be a bigger factor in the post season and the line has moved since yesterday from 5.5 to 5. This tells us people are starting to come around to the colts and I'll do the same and take the points.

I don't think the Colts win but it's going to be a close game.

  • Nyheim Hines game log has a theme to it if you study it carefully. In games where the Colts have won by single digits or lost, he averages 4.7 targets compared to just 3 when they are winning by more than single digits. This is basically saying if the colts are trailing or the game is close, he will be invovled and if he see's 5 or more targets today I think he's a lock for over 24.5 passing yards. I like the colts today and surely don't see them blowing the Chiefs out so I'll ride Hines over 24.5 receiving yards

Pumped for this game today. Weather may make it even more fun. Not sure the Colts can win outright but I took them to cover.

Weather is forecasted to be a cold mess in Kansas City tomorrow, 70% chance of snow/rain and 34 degrees at kickoff....and gusting winds up to 15MPH. I think these conditions favor the run game and the team with the better defense. I full expect to see this total of 57 drop to 53-54 before kickoff so lock in the UNDERS now.

    My Pick: Indianapolis +5.5 & Under 57 50%

I agree, Denver to NYC is going to turn white over the weekend. Locked in. Under 57

  • @Jay Z • 5m

Expect the Chiefs to show a little rust in the beginning after a 2 week break and a rookie QB in his first playoff game. I hope this line moves to Colts +6 or 7 but either way I'm going with Indy +5.5.

Mahomes doesn't strike me as a player who will get rattled by playoffs buy I'm with ya. I got Colts at 5.5 too.

  • @Jay Z • 5m

Colts +5.5. I think this Indianapolis team will surprise a lot of people. I think their defense is a lot better than what people give them credit for and Luck is playing lights out right now. I won't be surprised if they win but I'm going to grab points just in case.

This is where Colts luck stops. KC will blow them away. The chiefs are real playoffs contender , even SB and they don't 'play around' at home.

Hum. I went the other way. KC has slowed their roll while Colts seem to have found their groove. Not sure colts win but think its closer than 5.5. 100%

Everyone will be on KC to cover but we all know what happens when you expect too much from a team to win & cover .... This is playoffs, everyteam will play hard as f* , im pretty sure Colts will keep this game close so ill take the + pts. BOL

  • The Colts haven't faced a real quarterback lately and the Chiefs have the MVP, who will take off and run on you as well if he has to. The Chiefs defense is better than their rank as well, with how fast and early that the Chiefs score teams have to go to the air more than the average to try and catch up. I expect a high scoring game with the Chiefs outlasting the Colts.

Kansas City has the #1 ranked offense in the league which is great. However, the wheels have been coming off this joy ride for a while. Indianapolis is going to expose them.

All year long the Chiefs defense has been suspect. Andrew Luck and the Colts offense have started hitting their stride and that spells trouble for the Chiefs and the rest of the AFC. When you combine it with a defense that has gotten tougher over the last couple weeks we very well could see them in the super bowl.
