  • SECOND HALF ***PATRIOTS (PK)*** -Los Angeles had 2 first downs in the 1st half and the LA offensive line completely ineffective. LA can't run the ball and Goff has not time to pass. New England has at least been somewhat productive on offense and moving the ball. Hard to to like Patriots here in the 2nd half, who have historically been a 2nd half team.

Defense wins championships. I harken back to how the Rams dominated the Cowboys in the NFL playoff game. LA is due for a game where they put it all together and let's not forget how shaky the Pats were through out the season. And at LA +2.5 -110, might as well hit the money line at +120.

  • Los Angeles WR Cooper Kupp tore his ACL in week ten against the Seahawks and has been lost for the season. Jared Goff has not been the same quarterback since Kupp went down, but he still managed to bring his team back against the Saints. The Rams have the ability to pressure Tom Brady up the middle and that has given him trouble in the past. Take Los Angeles to complete their improbable ride with a Super Bowl victory. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Rams win in upset but grab the points just in case 30-27.

  • Happy SuperBowl Sunday everybody! Its been a relatively quite build up to this years game but I think it will be a good one! Im sticking with my pick of the Patriots -2.5 Normally experience wouldnt be such a deciding factor but wheither you like him or not Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have been here and have been successful here. McVay and company are just getting here. I Think the patriots win a field goal easily as Tom pulls away late. I see them winning by 6 or 7. The over is still in play here as well

My humble opinion, as it was against the chiefs and is that I am in favor of the old school is going to be resolved little by little good times, good asanas, but the variants and versatility that already handle the new layer of quaterback , running and passing, with special moves, will invade the nfl of the new thing little by little, brady lived it last season, and I think it's also ... starting from there it is that I can say, it's your moment Jared Goff with Todd Gurley and company, if you can watch, the forecast is not based on fanaticism, my statistics and numbers, tell me that the team that could beat the No. 1 seed of the nfl new orleans visitor was the rams and not let's forget that I also take out the game to the Kansas City in a few words this team can be coupled and adapt to the rival playing of visitors rams has a +8 and a +4 in the last game with better offensive, although if the last games of the patriot has taken to the vegas to move the li lines in favor of new england from +1.5 to -2.5 I am not the one to contradict them, but if I will benefit from their mistakes, I will play the rams and hope to see them raise the trophy tomorrow.

***LA RAMS +2.5*** - Final Answer. This line opened at LA Rams -1 so the expert bookmakers in Vegas initially thought that the Rams should be the favorite in this game. The public money poured in on the Patriots haphazardly moving this line to Pats -2.5. At the end of the day I think this game is a coin toss, so I ask myself do you want +120 on that coin toss with the Rams? or do you want to bet that coin toss at -140? I went to public school and still know the answer to that question. Let's put 1/2 our bet on LA RAMS +120 and 1/2 my bet on RAMS -2.5. Lock it in!

I just put my bet down on Rams 2.5 and will get more if it goes to 3. I think Rams win the Super Bowl, remember they opened as a 1 point favorite before the Pats bang wagon bettors started jumping on New England. Goff, Gurly and Anderson are going to be hard to stop and I think Aaron Donald and Suh will do just enough against Belichick and the old GOAT.

  • If you like LA RAMS to win the super bowl, is it worth paying -125 to get this line at +3? "The book" says that the number 3 is the best number, if you are going to buy the hook. The number "3" is the margin of victory 14.5% of the time in NFL.

There's no value in paying -130 for +3 but it certainly gives you peace of mind. I do like buying hooks at 3, 10, 14, 17, 21, 28 type of numbers in football.

This matchup should make for a great Super Bowl. Rams defensive line against Pats offense?, Old Tom Brady vs. Young Jared Goff? Sean McVay vs. Bill Belichick? With the Pats at -2.5 I've gone back and forth on this game. I initially told myself if this line went to 3 I would take the Rams. But if it stays at -2.5 I will play the Patriots. When I think back to the Pats Chiefs game this weekend, I thought the Patriots defense looked fantastic (minus a handful of plays). But for the most part the Patriots defense stymied Chiefs run game all night. And if Brady doesn't throw 2 Picks, one of which was from the 3 yard line, then Pats would have won by 14+ points in a dominating fashion. Patriots were clearly the better all round team in that matchup. When thinking about the Saints/Rams game, I didn't clearly see a more dominant team in that matchup and think both NO and LA have more chinks in the armor than the Patriots. My final thoughts are if Tom Brady brings his "A game" then the Patriots have the defense to win by 10+ points. If Tom Brady brings his "B game" it will be a close 3 point game either way. But at the end of the day, this is the Super Bowl and Jared Goff is 24 years old and Tom Brady is playing in his 9th Super Bowl. I know how this story plays out, my money just feels safer with the G.O.A.T.

    My Pick: New England -2.5

But after a day of sports news I'm now leaning Patriots -2. My guy has Pats -2.5 so if it goes to -3 I'll probably take Rams +3. Haven't decided. :) LAR +2.5 60%

I usually always say never bet against Brady, but I am this time. It may prove to be a horrible decision, however Goff is the only quarterback in the past 15 years or since Brady that when I look at him there is something sinister hidden deep in the back of his mind. Let me explain, Tom in interviews and out and about always seems controlled and almost emotionless, yes he smiles and laughs but its almost forced. He is thinking about football with every breath he takes. Every scenario, every pass has happened millions of times whether it was in his sleep, practice, or in a game. You think of some of the greats in sports history and they all at a period had that same mentality almost maniacal personality (Tiger, MJ, Serena,Richard Petty, Renaldo, Federer) where we thought they were A**holes. However Tom tipped his hand this year and in an interview he says in a condescending voice " yeah but you guys say we suck, so yeah we'll see" failure and doubt motivates these athletes more than the average, which brings us back to Goff. Last year at the end of the season there was some talk that maybe he was a bust or not ready. Welcome to Super Bowl 53 Jared.
