Houston has all the momentum with seven straight wins to start the season and they get Jarreau back for this game, who had eight points, three boards and seven assists in the Cougars season opener. I just haven't been impressed with Oklahoma State this season, they are coming off off losses to Minnesota and Tulsa where they just couldnt get enough done offensively. Facing a Houston team that is in the top 10 in the nation in scoring defense is going to be a challenge. I think Vegas has the wrong team favored in this game. I like Houston MONEY LINE (+110)

Houston's off to a good start and they have done me right so far this season. OSU has trouble finding the bottom of the net and it's keeping them out of the winner circle and now they come up against a seriously good UH defense. Lay the points.50%

NewsOK.com: OSU basketball: Cowboys fall to Houston, suffer third straight loss
STILLWATER -- Cam McGriff rose from the floor, seemingly poised to bring life to Gallagher-Iba Arena. But his dunk attempt met the rim.
It was that kind of day for the Cowboys, who became undefeated Houston's eighth victim with a 63-53 loss Saturday. McGriff's failed dunk would've put OSU down four with under six minutes to play; instead, the Cougars scored at the other end and the Cowboys never again got within five.
The Cowboys are 4-5, having a losing record through nine games for the first time since 1986-87. That team finished 8-20.
Here are three takeaways from OSU's third straight loss.
Cowboys Ride For Free: RECAP: More growing pains show in Cowboy Basketball 53-63 loss to Houston
Untimely turnovers haunted the Cowboys in this game. They just couldn't hold onto the basketball well enough when they would go on a run. Combine that with shooting just 31.8 percent from the field and you get a 65-53 loss for the Cowboys.
They would end the game with 12 turnovers and it seems like Houston was able to capitalize on all of them at all the wrong times. Houston was also +11 on the glass and turned that into 13 second-chance points.
Cam McGriff, Michael Weathers and Lindy Waters all had 7 points or below. They would combine for 6-26 on the night.
Pistols Firing: Cowboys Look to Bounce Back against Unbeaten (but Maybe Unproven) Houston
The Cowboys will match up with one of only 11 unbeaten teams left in college basketball Saturday.
Oklahoma State's tough nonconference schedule isn't slowing down, but the Cowboys will finally get to return to Gallagher-Iba for only the third time this season in a game against Kelvin Sampson's Houston squad. OSU is coming off consecutive losses for the first time this year, and a loss against the Cougars moves OSU to under .500.
