San Jose Mercury News: An Unexpected Open Thread (Warriors 116, Nets 100)
I ended up attending a fantastic South Indian classical music concert in Berkeley on Saturday night, which, coupled with a misconfigured DVR, meant I missed watching the Warriors bounce back from their desultory loss to the Bucks with a resounding 116-100 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Led by big games from Kevin Durant, Quinn Cook, and Klay Thompson (each of whom scored over 20), the Dubs weathered the absences of Stephen Curry, Shaun Livingston, and Draymond Green and got their entire active roster (including Marcus Derrickson, Damion Lee, and Jacob Evans) on the floor. The win pushes the Warriors' record to 11-2 with games coming up against the Clippers, Hawks, and Raptors.

CBS: Durant's Double Double Lifts Warriors Over Nets
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Kevin Durant had 28 points and 11 assists, Quinn Cook scored a season-high 27 in place of injured Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors used another big run in the third quarter to pull away and beat the Brooklyn Nets 116-100 on Saturday.
Klay Thompson added 24 points on an uneven shooting night while Damian Jones had eight points and six rebounds for the Warriors.
Two days after losing Curry to a groin injury in a 23-point home loss to Milwaukee, Golden State bounced back with little problem while their leading scorer sat at home watching.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh boy. The Nets are cooking right now after that late night last-second win over Denver. Caris LeVert did it again, and I would like it to be public information that I quite literally danced for a solid 30 seconds after he sunk that final shot.
I was ready to write about how the Nets blew another winnable game, but nope.

Fansided: Brooklyn Nets at Golden State Warriors: TV, live stream info, injury report
It's an early-evening start on the West Coast Saturday night for the Brooklyn Nets, who take on the two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., for an 8:30 p.m. Eastern tip off.
That's a 5:30 local start for a game that sees the teams coming in from the exact opposite directions they did for their Oct. 28 matchup in Brooklyn.
The Nets (6-6) have won three straight games, including a last-second victory Friday night against the Denver Nuggets on the road, while the Warriors (10-2) come in off their first home-court loss of the season.

ESPN.com: Warriors will be without Curry, Green against Nets
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Steph Curry is expected to join All-Star teammate Draymond Green on the sidelines Saturday night when the Golden State Warriors take on the Brooklyn Nets.
Curry suffered what was diagnosed Friday as a relatively minor groin strain in Thursday's blowout loss to Milwaukee.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr announced Friday that Curry's status will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis, but that he wouldn't play against the Nets.
"He's pretty bummed out, but the MRI was basically good news," Kerr reported to the media. "This doesn't look like it's going to be a long-term injury.

NetsDaily: Nets test their mettle vs. Golden State Saturday
Even if play was sloppy and at times downright stagnant, Brooklyn pulled this one off. Next up is the Warriors.
Usually this is the kind of game the Nets might be resigned to lose but in the midst of a winning streak that has reached three games?
