Good morning, baseball fans!

This Sunday is Father's Day, and if you're anything like me, you most definitely have not forgotten to get your dad a gift. Nope, no way. But just in case, we've got you covered with this San Francisco Giants themed gift guide, sponsored by Target.

Let's take a look!

First up is this fine looking Giants hat for $14.97. Your dad likes hats. I don't know your dad, but I know dads and they like hats. This works for any dad, Giants fan or not. Dads just like hats.

Pitchers lay the foundation for daily fantasy baseball teams. So it's not coincidental they have the highest salaries in FanDuel contests. Of course, it's possible to overcome a bad outing from a starter, but it's markedly easier to cash in contests with a good or excellent start.

Simply nailing your pitcher can cover up for a miss or two among your hitter selections. Thankfully, pitchers are less volatile to project than their hitting counterparts. First, pitcher skills such as walk rate and strikeout rate help separate the genuinely talented pitchers from their lesser peers. In addition, park factors and the offensive strength of the opponent are integral considerations for picking your FanDuel pitchers.

Apologies for publishing this late, but I forgot to hit the publish button. Here's what the San Francisco Giants Minor League affiliates did on Thursday.

All listed positions are the positions played in that game.

AAA Sacramento (24-39)

Sacramento River Cats lost to the Tacoma Rainiers (Mariners) 6-5
Box score

The most important part of the River Cats game is that it featured the 2nd rehab start for RHP Anthony DeSclafani, who is on the 60-day IL and hasn't pitched in the Majors since April 21, which was just his 3rd start of the year.

The holidays have just passed so it's once again the most wonderful time of the year. It's prospect season. After a turbulent couple of seasons of baseball, it finally feels like the minor leagues have settled into some level of normalcy as we have a large draft class and an updated season of information to make some major shake ups in this year's top 30 Braves list. Like all years past we're going to kick it off at the bottom of the pack with a handful of players who just missed our Top 30 Braves Prospects list, presented in no particular order.

We are less than a month away from the 2022 MLB Draft where the Atlanta Braves hold the 20th pick of the first round. There are a lot of different ways that Atlanta can go and many will probably depend on what happens ahead of them. The Braves have been previously connected to college arms which has been a recent trend. The Athletic's Keith Law released his second mock draft Tuesday and projects Florida infielder/outfielder Sterlin Thompson to the Braves at pick No. 20.

I think it's more likely that Atlanta goes college than high school, and more likely hitter than pitcher, so they'd be looking at the college position player group that includes Thompson, Beck, Graham and Drew Gilbert.
