Davies and the Brewers are literally almost unbeatable when he is on the mound with his 2.60 ERA. Strahm is very talented and if the Padres gave him a little more support you could flip his 2-6 record. I'll stay with the Brew Crew today though.

Goin with the Brewers here. Zach Davies is actually more effective on the road where he features a crisp 2.25 ERA and a 3-1 record on the season. Davies also has a 3-0 career record against the Padres, and he has limited San Diego to only 6 runs in 25 career innings. I think the Brewers line up will be able to score runs off the Padres pitching staff.50%

Gaslamp Ball: Padres sweep 1st place Brewers, get back over .500
On June 19th the Padres took on the Milwaukee Brewers in the final game of the series. Playing for the sweep against the number one team in the national league central. After two stellar pitching performances to open the series, the Padres looked to ride that momentum into today's game. Andy Green gave the ball to Matt Strahm for the start, and things looked shaky after giving up a two-out homer in the top of the 1st inning. That did not seem to faze the Padres, as they answered back with two runs of their own in the bottom of the same inning.
