Gimme deGrom here at home at these odds. The Cardinals have been up aa roller coaster this season as they simply cant seem to find their stride and play consistent baseball. St. Louis is just 13-19 on the road and theyre facing a Mets team that plays significantly better at home, posting a 19-11 mark. We note that Jack Flaherty has scuffled on the road this season where he is 1-2 with a 6.67 ERA and a 1.69 WHIP with 16 walks and 28 strikeouts in 28.1 innings. Look for the Mets to score enough runs for deGrom to get the win here.

CBS: Diaz Crumbles In The 9th, Mets-Cardinals Game Suspended Due To Rain Tied At 4
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- The game between the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets was suspended because of rain Thursday night, moments after Harrison Bader hit an RBI double with two outs in the top of the ninth inning that made it 4-all.
Play will resume Friday at 6:10 p.m. beginning in the bottom of the ninth. That will be followed by the regularly scheduled game between the teams.
St. Louis scored twice in the ninth off closer Edwin Diaz to tie it, capping a bizarre sequence that saw umpires reverse their call and order the tarp off the field right after it had been rolled out.
Amazin' Avenue: Mets welcome Cardinals to Citi Field for four-game series
The New York Mets (33-34) will look to climb above the .500 mark as they take on the struggling St. Louis Cardinals (33-33) at Citi Field. Earlier this season, the Mets traveled to Busch Stadium and dropped the final two games of their weekend series after winning the Friday night opener.
In between a Monday off-day (rain out) and a Wednesday off-day (scheduled), the Mets played a Subway Series doubleheader with the cross-town rival New York Yankees. The result was a split that saw the Mets fall in the afternoon behind poor pitching and subpar defense and win in the nighttime behind solid pitching and timely hitting.
