Keller is top prospect and I think we can't really take that 13.5 ERA into consideration since he's only pitched one game. With that being said, he now has to make a road start against a hot Braves team. I love Soroka but hate this price but understand if you want to throw a unit on a combo I wouldn't blame you. I like the braves and they line up really well here

    My Pick: Atlanta -210 70%

  • Too many things going against the Pirates in this one. The combination of Atlantas scorching-hot bats plus Mike Soroka on the mound has the odds to great for the Pirates to overcome. Soroka has held opposing batters to a .172/.250/.220 slash line, a .470 OPS, and overall has surrendered just 14 runs across 65.1 innings. Pittsburgh is 0-5 in its last five against right-handed starters and 1-4 in its last five at Atlanta. The Braves are 4-1 in Sorokas last five starts, 4-1 in his last five home starts, and 8-3 in the last 11 meetings between the two teams. Love the run line here for the Braves

  • I had to double check to make sure these odds were correct today. Atlanta is +143 at home with Soroka facing Keller? Give me Soroka and the better offense at home today.

Talking Chop: Mike Soroka, Braves look to clinch series win over Pirates

The Atlanta Braves will look to clinch a series win against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday and extend their winning streak to six-straight in the process. Atlanta has unleashed a home run barrage launching 10 over the first two games of the series.

They will look to give some support to Mike Soroka who hasn't needed much over his first 10 starts of the season. Soroka is coming off of a stellar outing where he limited the Marlins to three hits and one run over eight innings. Soroka has allowed one earned run or less in nine of his 10 starts this season.
