The Sox just had a great series against the astros and I see a few people talking about riding the momentum of a hot team that's been hitting well and talking about Berrios not being on top of his game. I woudln't say Berrios is off his game because he ran into so serious bad luck and had BABIPs of .500 and .455 in two of his bad starts. He still had low hard hit rates those games so that is just unfortunate. The thing that sticks out ot me is his control is elite and that's proven by his 4.2% walk rate. He really has similar skill sets to guys like Thor and Walker Buehler but the one thing he has going ifor is the White sox strike out a lot more than the average team. With Berrius elite ground ball rate I don't think the white sox will be smacking him around but the same can't be said about the Twins. Dear god I thought I was watching batting practice last night when they tee'd off against Harvey and this lineup is so good and gets no credit. I like the twins a lot and -200 is my threshold for games. Its worth noting that Lopez has an ERA of 2.29 his last three games and I've heard people talking about that going into this game but take a look at his SIERA, it's sitting at 6.07 meaning he's been extremely lucky and that's not going to bode well for lineups like the twins

    My Pick: Minnesota -200 70%

I think Lopez is better than his ERA and has been much sharper of late. t's not Lopez that I am worried about for this matchup, it's the bullpen for the White Sox continuing to stink it up, I like the OVER 9 here tonight and predict theTwins will explode at the plate in the latter innings.

    My Pick: Over 9

South Side Sox: Gamethread: White Sox at Twins

For the first time this season, the White Sox are in Minny to face the Twins, who are red-hot with a 33-16 record.

Rey Lo is in search of his fourth quality start in a row tonight. One of Lopez's biggest struggles is giving up the long ball. Unfortunately for him, the Twins are a home run-hitting team. They have hit five-plus home runs in a game six times so far this season. Here's to hoping Lopez can keep the ball in the park and be in command for tonight's game.

The opponent for tonight is the White Sox killer Jose Berrios.
