I've watched Jesse chavez enough to know what he's all about and Marco had a few hiccups his last couple of starts, but htat was expected after starting off 5-0. I can't say I'm going to crush this game because Gonzales has a Siera of 4.85 which is higher than his ERA. This mean more regression is coming. He's a fly ball pitcher which could lead to trouble in a hot dry game in Texas, but I like him a lot more than Chavez (who won't go more than a few innings then Adrian sampson takes over) and Sampson. This total is really high but I like this price on the Mariners and I'll ride them for a a unit, don't go to crazy though because nothing is certian in these games70%

***4 UNIT PLAY*** Great price on Seattle here today. It's hard to know what to expect with this Texas team that has been running hot and cold all season, but I just don't think this is a good spot for the Rangers tonight. Chavez isn't the Rangers best stuff and was obliterated in his last 3 starts, giving up 11 runs in only 7 innings pitched. Marco Gonzales is one of the brighter spots in the Mariners rotation and predict Seattle snaps their cold streak here with a win.60%

The Seattle Times: Mariners swept in Texas after bats go cold in finale vs. Rangers
ARLINGTON, Texas -- They got the pitching performance they needed. But a Mariners offense filled with so much potential and power was held to just one run by an opener, a kid from Skyline High School and a former Mariners reliever in a 2-1 loss to the Rangers.
The Mariners were swept in the three-game series.
Former Skyline standout and one-time Mariner Adrian Sampson pitched 5 1/3 innings of "relief" after opener Jesse Chavez to lead the Rangers to the win. Former Mariner reliever Shawn Kelley worked out of a minor jam in the ninth that had the tying and winning run on base to close out the game.
Dallas Morning News: Opener pays off again for Adrian Sampson as Rangers complete 3-game sweep of Mariners
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Adrian Sampson and the Texas Rangers like the results of these delayed lengthy pitching appearances, with the right-hander entering after an "opener" gets through the first few batters.
Sampson allowed one earned run over 5 1/3 innings after taking over in the second inning Wednesday, getting his second big league victory in a 2-1 win over the Seattle Mariners. That is the same way he got his first victory five days earlier against the St. Louis Cardinals.
"As long as we get wins, everyone's happy," Sampson said.
"Whether he likes it, I don't know fully because I don't think he'll tell me like I hate this," manager Chris Woodward said.
