Give me Phillies +4.5 Runs Scored all day! Vargas has looked awful and this Phillies Lineup is too good to get blanked or not score some runs the entire series. His stuff looks like nothing compared to the other Starters in the Mets Rotation and I think the Phillies unload early.50%

The Mets getting this kind of price at home feels like a steal considering that the Mets have outscored the Phillies by a combined 14-1 over the first two games. Vargas is another guys I think is much better than his ERA which is inflated but IMO the Phillies are too good of a team to play like this three games in a row, and Velasquez is probably a little more trustworthy at this point.

Philadelphia Phillies (61% consensus). The Philadelphia Phillies have been showing more fire in their postgame interviews than they have on the field lately. With losses in five of their last six and getting outscored 18-2 in their last three, the slumping Phillies look to locate a spark and avert a series sweep by the host New York Mets on Wednesday night... http://bit.ly/2GoC6fD

CBS: Hoskins Gets Last Laugh Against Rhame, Phillies Beat Mets 6-0
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Rhys Hoskins homered off reliever Jacob Rhame and taunted him with a slow jog around the bases a night after Rhame buzzed him with two fastballs, and the struggling Philadelphia Phillies beat the New York Mets 6-0 on Wednesday.
Hoskins was furious after Rhame sailed two pitches over his head with two outs in the ninth inning of New York's 9-0 win Tuesday. The slugger faced Rhame again in the ninth Wednesday, flipping his bat emphatically after hooking a two-run shot over the wall in left.
It took Hoskins 34.23 seconds to touch 'em all, the slowest trot in the majors this season.
Amazin' Avenue: Zack Wheeler does it all for the Mets as they beat the Phillies for the second straight night
The New York Mets beat the Philadelphia Phillies for the second time in as many games behind Zack Wheeler's career night. While the Brooklyn Nets were busy getting eliminated from the NBA playoffs by the Philadelphia 76ers, the Mets jumped back into first place in the division by defeating Philadelphia's baseball team. It was the also the team's first shutout victory since Opening Day against the Washington Nationals.
In his 100th career start, Wheeler was in complete control on the mound with a fastball that routinely reached 100 miles per hour and a filthy slider that hit 94.
CBS Philly: Phillies Crushed By Mets, 9-0, For 5th Loss In Last 6 Games
NEW YORK (AP) -- Zack Wheeler hit his first major league home run and struck out 11 in seven sharp innings as the New York Mets handed the Philadelphia Phillies their fifth loss in six games, 9-0 on Tuesday night.
The only spirit the Phillies showed came with two outs in the ninth when two fastballs by Mets reliever Jacob Rhame sailed over Rhys Hoskins' head. The benches started to clear after the first time, and Hoskins angrily slung his bat after the next one, which was ball four.
Wheeler also doubled and drove in three runs and Todd Frazier connected for a grand slam that made it 8-0 in the fifth.
Phillies Nation: Phillies offensive woes continue as Wheeler, Mets take the division lead
The Philadelphia Phillies came into Tuesday night's game after having been chewed out by starting pitcher Jake Arrieta regarding their performance last night. One would assume a fire would've been lit. Instead, it appears that fire was out before the game even started.
The Phillies lost in a blowout (and a shutout), 9-0, to the New York Mets. This gives the Mets the series win and leaves them one victory away from a sweep. For the Phillies, it's their fifth loss in the last six games.
The game started with both opposing pitchers being worked by the hitters.
CBS: Wheeler Becomes MLB's First '100-100' Player As Mets Rout Phillies
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Zack Wheeler hit his first major league home run and struck out 11 in seven sharp innings - and that was only part of his historic night in a Mets uniform.
Wheeler (2-2) became the first player in MLB this season to join the "100-100 club" -- hitting his home run over 100 mph and also throwing a 100-mph pitch in the same game, according to Statcast.
Wheeler's one-man show helped New York hand the Philadelphia Phillies their fifth loss in six games, 9-0 on Tuesday night.
The only spirit the Phillies showed came with two outs in the ninth when two fastballs by Mets reliever Jacob Rhame sailed over Rhys Hoskins' head.
