Gonzales has found ways to keep the Mariners in games and they're 4-1 this season when he pitches, but he can give up runs and has had an issue keeping the ball out of the air this season. Pena has allowed just one run in his last 8.1 innings and has nine strikeouts during that span. Pena has also won each of his last four home starts and five of his last seven starts overall. I just trust Felix Pena a little more in this matchup and other than last nights 11 runs, the Mariners bats have been cold.

Halos Heaven: Angels have one of their greatest comebacks of all-time in 11-10 loss to Mariners
Well, that was fun! The Angels may have lost 11-10, but today is a day where mixing things up and looking at the positives in spite of a disappointing 9th inning just feels right.
The game started in the 7th inning stretch with a 10-2 score. I don't know why that is. It's some weird rule Manfred put into place; something about teams needing handicaps, which he referred to as "Angels starting pitchers," against the boys in red. Much like several of his brainblasts, this rule seems like utter B.S. to me.
Regardless, the Angels took to their helms and clubs and proceeded to show us exactly why these other teams so desperately require a head start.

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Jay Bruce delivered a tiebreaking pinch-hit RBI single in the ninth, as the Seattle Mariners blew a late eight-run lead before rallying for an 11-10 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday night.
Ryon Healy homered twice and drove in five runs, and Omar Narvaez added a three-run shot as the Mariners snapped a six-game skid even after wasting a 10-2 lead heading to the bottom of the seventh.
