Verlander has been a little shaky this season but got back on track against Seattle in last outing only giving up 1 run in 6 innings. On the other side Smyly hasn't been terrible but Texas is only getting 3-4 innings out of him and that's a problem with the Ranger's weak ass bullpen. Hard to bet this game with these crazy odds, but Houston should certainly win here, the only play is Stro's -1.5 (-140) and the UNDER 9.5 is worth a look as I don't see Texas's anemic offense scoring more than 2 runs tonight.80%

The Crawfish Boxes: Game 19 Thread. April 19th, 2019, 7:05 CDT. Astros vs Rangers
It's on. Astros vs. Mall Cops. The Cops have been taking some serious training at the Academy, and are riding a four game win streak. But the Astros are better, and they have won 10 of their last 11 games. But before the 10 game streak, the last team to beat the Astros was the Rangers.
Justin Verlander, who was his old Hall of Fame self in his last outing, faces the Rangers' Drew Smyly. Advantage Astros.

The Crawfish Boxes: 2019 Series Preview #7: Houston Astros @ Texas Rangers
The Astros return to Texas after a 10-1 rampage through the Yankees and AL West. They head to Arlington after a series split against the A's that featured some heavy duty pitching by the Astros, with only three runs allowed through both games. Ultimately it was the bats that fell silent in the final game against the A's, but that was up against what looks to be an up and coming pitcher for Oakland.
So far on the trip Gurriel has had the best week on the offense, sporting a .381/.409/.619 slash line with a grand slam under his belt and a couple of doubles.
