TEXAS +148 - Texas is worth a chip bet here today with Kyle Dowdy getting his first start. The Rangers picked up Dowdy off waivers from NY Mets and reportedly like the improvements he showed late last season and his ability to pitch multiple innings gives the Rangers a long man to replace Jason Hammel. Dowdy underwent Tommy John surgery last summer and reportedly has seen an uptick in his fast ball, and his slider and curveball both improved. I'm going to take shot in the dark and give this kid a chance tonight.
My Pick: Texas +148
Get your St.Louis -120 - Good value with Red Birds with Wainwright going against Chacin. I think the Cards should be -135-140 in this matchup. Wainwright is the better hurler, playing at home and St.Louis #1 offense is red hot right now.
My Pick: St. Louis -122

Agreed and Clippers covered 2 of these games which were close games. Warriors are an explosive team but common sense says take the points
BOSTON RED SOX -102 (BET OF THE DAY) - Price is coming off his best start of the season, holding the Baltimore Orioles to seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts. You also know Price has a little extra motivation to him when going up against his former team. As impressive as the Tampa Bay Rays have been this season, we're getting a quality pitcher and a really good team starting to put things together at a really cheap price.
My Pick: Boston -102

Yankees -215? Las Vegas you must be crazy. No Aaron Judge today for the Yankees and on paper I think Jorge Lopez is ever bit as good as Paxton. This line just doesn't make sense to me today, and also think this total is a little low with these two starters today. I can see this game being somewhere in the realm of 6-4 so I will recommend the over in this game.
My Pick: Kansas City +195 & Over 8

Must win game for Brooklyn here and Embiid looks doubtful for this game which I think gives Brooklyn a fighting chance here. Brooklyn dropped an egg in game 3 but I think they bounce back at home today against the short handed 76ers
My Pick: Brooklyn +1.5

Agree, Spurs at home are a different team and there is blood in the water

Pacers aren't the same team without Oladipo. There's a reason the money came in on Boston after this line opened at 6.5. I'll follow.
My Pick: Boston -7

Atlanta -130 is free. Braves bats will get to Vargas and Mets bull pen aint great
My Pick: Atlanta -138

The Yankees have been hit HARD with injuries so the plus money is tempting here, but Nova is hard for me to trust. Nova came out firing in his debut this year April 1 with 7.0 innings, one earned and six hits. Novas second start didnt go so well however with seven earned on seven hits in just 2.1 innings of work. As for Sabathia, this will be his first start of the season and he probably wont be in there longer than 4-5 innings. Itll be a bullpen game for New York, and with the way their relievers have been playing this week thats not a good thing. No way I can justify paying -170 to play Yankees in this spot, but can't trust Nova either. I would lean taking UNDER 10 here with a lot of the Yankee sluggers out for this game.
My Pick: Under 10

The Jazz, win or lose, will still likely fall in that 5 to 7 range, which avoids the Warriors, so they are probably less likely to go all out to win this one. The Clippers, on the other hand, are more likely to be 8th so a win here is necessary. I like Clippers to cover here with the sense of urgency.
My Pick: Los Angeles -8

This one has a lot more meaning for San Antonio than it does for Dallas. San Antonio knows that a win here could keep them from facing Golden State and, depending on how things play out Tuesday and Wednesday, could push them as high as the six seed in the West. The Spurs have had two days to rest and are a different team at home. Spurs win 112-90
My Pick: San Antonio -14

The last two games have been very close games and this one could once again go either way. But both South Florida and DePaul have been much better teams at home this season and since game three will be played at McGrath-Phillips Arena tonight, I will put something small on DePaul and hope their home crowd can rally them to a victory and cover.
My Pick: DePaul -1

Just in case you were thinking Lipscomb doesn't have a chance in this game, think again. The Bisons are a great program with a lot of talent and reached the NCAA tournament last season and won 23 games in the process. In fact, theyve reached the 20-win mark in each of the last three seasons with a program record 29 this year. Lipscomb will have the best player on the floor tonight in Garrett Mathews. Mathews is a scorer and he can do it from all over the floor. Put conference affiliations aside in your assessment. The Bisons are legit and I'm betting the Horns wont be able to stop them.
My Pick: Lipscomb +1.5

Mississippi couldnt defend anything Oklahoma did in the first round while Virginia looked like the same team that suffered a first round loss a year ago until turning on the gas in the 2nd Half. I expect Virginia to play a complete game here and win this one by double digits.
