Reds are starting to get banged up and dropped 4 out of their last 5. Cards should win this one with ease

    My Pick: St. Louis -117

I think Houston is the better team and will go farther in the long scheme of things but this is not a good spot for them. They are 1-4 in their last 5 and have a spot starter throwing in this one after going 13innings last night in a loss. Bassitt has also been great in his last three games with a 1.53 ERA in 19+ innings. Oakland is the play here at great value

    My Pick: Oakland +128

What do you mean "hot as Houston has been"?? they have lost 4 straight including 2 in this series and 2 to the White Sox

    My Pick: Oakland +128

Its tough to back Trent Thornton in this one as he has been sloppy all year. But he had a great outing in his last start against the Yankees in which he pitched 6 innings in a pitchers duel with Tanaka that he lost 1-0. So if the pitching match up is a wash which it is with McClain then you look at the team behind him and the Blue Jays have dominated the Mariners. They have won 13 of the last 18 contests between the two teams and have also won four of their last five games after giving up more than five runs in their previous game. The Mariners have struggled against AL East teams and have only one win in their last five contests against teams in the division. They have also lost nine of their last 12 games. -160 is a little steep here but it makes sense

    My Pick: Toronto -158

These bullpen collapses is brutal for the Cubs and everyone that bet them. But today is another day and I think they are in a good spot for a big win. The Cubs are 4-0 in Lesters last 4 starts against the Pirates so he has had success against them already. On the other hand The Pirates will have Steven Brault on the hill. Brault was roughed up last time out, giving up four runs in 4.2 innings against the Cardinals, resulting in a no-decision in a game Pittsburgh lost. The fourth-year right-hander has failed to log more than 5.1 innings in each of his last three starts, and he enters this one with a 4.33 ERA and a 1.51 WHUP. Brault allowed four runs in three innings in his lone meeting against the Cubs this season, and the Cubs have given his trouble as he has a terrible 7.53 ERA in 28.2 career innings against them. Cubs ML here

    My Pick: Chicago -143

Obvious value in the Indians here. They showed in the two games of this series that they can play with this Yankees team. Plus Paxton struggles against the Indians where he is 0-3 with a 5.06 ERA, a 1.547 WHIP, nine walks and 28 strikeouts over 21.1 innings in four career starts. Plus we see that the Indians are 4-1 in their last 5 road games vs. a left-handed starter. I like them to build on that trend and get the win here

    My Pick: Cleveland +155

Love Seattle in this one. The pitching match up heavily favors the Mariners and Marco Gonzalez. It is incredible that Edwin Jackson is still in the league but he is on the worst team with the worst home record. The Mariners are 4-0 in Gonzales last four road starts against losing opponents and 17-4 in the last 21 meetings between the two teams. Detroit is 4-14 in its last 18 at home against losing opponents, 17-35 in its last 52 against starters with WHIPs over 1.30, and 1-4 in its last five at home against left-handed starters. Take the Mariners here

    My Pick: Seattle -143

Ive been on this young guy from the Cardinals Dakota Hudson all year and think he has great value in this spot. He has struggled as of late but this Royals line up favors well with his arsenal and sinker. I also think his offense give him another leg up

    My Pick: St. Louis -128

Love the Padres here. Jalen Beeks has been good for the Rays but the rest of the staff has been shaky at best. San Diego is still technically not out of the Wild Card race but need every game they can get. Quantrill has been terrific of late and that has helped stabilize the Padres rotation. This will be a challenge for Tampa Bay as Quantrill pitches well at Petco Park. This is a great spot for the Padres to break the Rays win streak

    My Pick: San Diego -113

I would look twice before laying money on JA Happ. He has been brutal for the Yankees as of late.

Gotta go with the Brew Crew here. Gio passes the eye test for me as Kyle Gibson has looked terrible as of late. Plus the Twins are trending downwards as they are begining to lose their hold on the division with the Indians surging. Despite the outcome yesterday the Brewers have the better match up in this one.

    My Pick: Milwaukee -115

When this line does come out I would hop all over the Indians before it swings even more that way. Bieber has been dominate lately and should continue his roll.

    My Pick: Cleveland +110

These young guns for the Jays have been impressive over the last week or so. If they can keep the core three young guys together at the top of the order this team could be scary. I like them here in this match up to get the sweep and continue to roll. The key factors for me are the Rangers are 1-5 in their last 6 vs. the American League East and 3-8 in the last 11 meetings in Toronto. Take the Jays and the over here

    My Pick: Toronto -131 & Over 10
