The Rockets just havent been able to buy a win lately and melted down in the 4th quarter meltdown against the Mavericks on Sunday. The Trailblazers haven't played since Saturday's win over T-wolves so, even though a road trip, they should be relatively rested and full of confidence. These teams last met on Oct 30 and it was the Trailblazers who won by 104-85. I like the 6.5 points here tonight in what should be a closely contested game.

    My Pick: Portland +6.5

Am I the only one that's a little surprised this line is only 3.5. Denver is back in the hunt and I expect a strong showing....and Lindsay is on a roll averaging more than 7 yards a carry in the last 3 games. He should have a easy time with the buttery SF defense. The 49ers have no hope, execpt for a no. 1 draft pick. If Denver can't cover -3.5 against SF they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

Miami is dominate at home and covered 13 of 16 meetings with NE. I expect the Patriots to win but this years Brady isn't the Brady we know that can make just about anything happen. I think Amendola is going to want to put on a show at home. Will be a good game, but I think Miami gets the cover here.

Boston won 4 straight games and are on a hot streak. They are playing good ball right now and putting up big numbers. Portis and Dunn MIGHT be back for Chicago but don't think they will be well enough to make a difference in taking down Boston. Boston makes it 5 straight wins today.

Knicks have had an extra day of rest but they are missing Burke. Nets had a big game last night that went into overtime so expect a sluggish group. Nets don't play good the 2nd game of a back to back, in fact they are 0-6 and are losing by almost 14 points. Looks like I'm going against the grain, but taking New York to cover at home.

Dallas is starting to get it done with Doncic and Jordan. Houston travels to Dallas on a 2 game losing streak and they lost several by double digits. Rockets are having a tough start out of the gate and can't find a way to put points on the board. Better bets out there today but if pushed to make a call I'm going with Dallas and the points.

Both Marquise Goodwin and Garson out tonight for San Fran which will be for a long night against this Seahawks defense. UNDER 45.5 looks good in this spot, Seattle wins a 24-13 game.

    My Pick: Under 45.5

this won't be an easy cover, but the Raiders have broke bad and can't be touched. Mahomes will carve up the Oakland secondary. Kansas City 37-17

This started at 1 pt spread I believe and has moved in favor of Wichita St. Baylor was just plain bad on the road last year so I'll have to see more from them in away games before I start betting on them, especially in close games. And, Wichita St has shown glimpses of talent. Got the Shockers to cover.

This Montana team is decent but Creighton has the fire power to win by double digits here.

    My Pick: Creighton -8.5

Bowling Green has been able to pick up some nice wins over the past two weeks, however, those wins came against Akron and Central Michigan who havent been able to score on anyone this season. Buffalo is better on both sides of the ball; I expect the 9-2 Bulls to bounce back from their bad loss against Ohio and cover this number today.

Kansas has looked improved the last two weeks against both Kansas St team and a Top 10 Oklahoma team, let's not forget that this Texas team has been skating by all season and 15.5 points is just too many points here today, I expect Pookah Williams to find the end zone 2-3 times today and KU covers. Final Score: Texas 31- KU 21

It's hard to trust this Carolina team but they have looked great last 2 weeks and have the offense to keep pace with Pittsburgh, I think Big Ben goes off tonight but I still think Carolina keeps it close and going to take the 3.5 points. too good pass up. Maybe something on the Over 51.
