Hard not to think Bama doesnt make this a game. And they get ball to start second half and will go for 2. I took Bama

Rutgers has given MSU fits of late. Last season, the Spartans trailed at the half at Rutgers and rallied to win by 10, and then we needed overtime to win in East Lansing. The absence of Corey Sanders, who not surprisingly left for the NBA long before the NBA was interested, helps the Scarlet Knights, even though they have a little less one-on-one pop offensively. If McQuaid is out again, that hurts against Baker, whos a big guard with a smooth shot, including a midrange game off the dribble. This is a matchup built for Nick Ward, if he gets some time one-on-one with Shaq Doorson. Doorson is a 7-footer, but a close-to-the-rim guy, with limited quickness and offensive skill.

Prediction: The RAC, as they call the Rutgers Athletic Center, is sold out for this one. That should help the home team, given the quick turnaround from the game at Miami on Wednesday night. Still, the Spartans know how and why they lost at Louisville. It was almost entirely on them. From what weve seen, I still think this is a relatively mature MSU team and a more talented roster than Rutgers has, but 8.5 is a big number for a rivalry game. There are better games on the board to bet today, but if i was forced to picks I would take Rutgers and the points.

Score Prediction.: MSU 73, Rutgers 66

TCU is playing for bowl eligibility today but they've had a tough season. The Cowboys are a steady and strong team and should be able to handle TCU at home and strike their hopes of that bowl game. TCU can't score enough to keep up with OSU, the Cowboys average 41 points per game in the last three games. I expect the Cowboys to take this by at least 10.

Too many points tonight against Cougars team that hasn't looked good last 2 weeks. Maybe they bounce back tonight but I'll follow the trends and take the hotter team in Tulane. And I agree with your unders logic here too.

LA-Monroe had that sketchy four-game losing streak that so far is defining their season. In those four games, the Warhawks didnt score more than 27 points and gave up at least 35 in each game. Coming off a 4-game losing streak in which the Warhawks allowed nearly 50 points a game ULM finally got something positive going with a 45-20 spanking of Coastal Carolina

As for Texas State, they also have had a sketchy losing streak but only lost 13-15 to a good Georgia Southern team last weekend. The problem for Texas State all season has been on the offensive side of the ball averaging only 19 points per game.

All things considered, I my immediate instincts tell me to take the points in this game. I also think both teams struggling on offense that this total of 60 is too high for this matchup. Betting Prediction: Texas State and UNDER 60

This should be a tight hard-fought game and I do see the Bulldogs being able to make a game of this but it's hard to argue a case for betting on Mississippi St here with LSU only a 5.5 point favorite. LSU put up 36 on Georgia last week, but the MSU defense is better and LSU was held to just seven points by this defense last year.

The Mississippi St. Bulldogs are coming off a bye week and should have plenty of confidence after their solid win against Auburn in their last game. However, LSU should also have plenty of confidence coming into this game as well, with LSU's recent beat down of previously undefeated Georgia. The Mississippi St defense has been outstanding all year and even better of late, which should keep a stagnant LSU offense from putting up enough points to run away with this game, but LSU should be able to control the line of scrimmage...the Tigers dont always do it pretty but theyre winning games that they need to and are putting themselves in a legitimate spot for playoff conversation in a few weeks. All in all, I think this is a decent line we are getting with LSU, so Ill lay the points with the Tigers here.

    Betting Prediction: LSU -5.5 & Under 45.5

Georgia Southern is much improved but I was shocked at their poor performance against Texas State, but I think this is an ideal matchup for Georgia Southern against New Mexico State. Georgia Southern relies on their running game to generate a significant portion of their offense, and New Mexico State has been awful against the run, conceding an average of 259 rushing yards per game.

For most of the season (notwithstanding last week's game) Georgia Southern is playing outstanding defense. They have only allowed a combined 26 points in their last two games, and they should neutralize a very weak Aggies offense. The Aggies greatest strength on offense is their passing game, and the Eagles feature a terrific pass defense that is limiting opponents to an average of 207 passing yards per game. All aspects of this game point to Georgia Southern beating New Mexico St in this game tonight.

Betting Prediction: Georgia Southern Eagles -9.5

Colorado St is just not a good team. The Rams will struggle against the Bronco offense and this will be a high scoring game. Broncos easily cover this huge spread.
