Too many points here today? Memphis lost by 16 points to Tulsa earlier this season (95-79), but the Tigers have looked like a different team as of late and certainly is a team that has the talent to give some of the better teams in the AAC trouble in the conference tournament. Tulsa is a good team, however, they are just 3-7 on the road this season and as I think the Memphis offense will be able to have success at home against the Golden Hurricane defense. I don't see Memphis losing this game at home where they are 14-2 on the season, but this is a pretty thick line so maybe just something small on Memphis here today to make it interesting.
My Pick: Memphis -8

Villanova is one of the hottest teams in the country, winning their last 9 games. But I think Vegas is pushing the envelope with giving Georgetown double digits here today. Both teams recently played Xavier and Villanova beat Xavier by 10 points and Georgetown beat Xavier by 7 points. Georgetown has impressed in their last two games, beating St. Johns's by 11 in a game where they were 7 point underdogs. Villanova wins but I think the Hoyas get the backdoor cover in this game today.
My Pick: Georgetown +11

Louisiana Tech has struggled on the road, losing all four conference games on the road, but should be able to end the skid against FAU here tonight. The Owls rank near the bottom of the conference on both ends of the floor. The betting value is with the better team La Tech on the low line here today.
My Pick: Louisiana Tech -3.5

***KENT ST -3 - 4 UNIT PLAY*** Kent State played solid ball in the first half against a solid Buffalo team and was tied at half time but couldn't keep up in the second half. Although the Broncos have played better of late, they have already lost once to Kent St. (lost 88-72) on January 8th and I think they are overmatched here. Got to love Kent St -3 here today.
My Pick: Kent St. -3

Leaning Tulsa +14 in this one. Both recently played UCONN and Tulsa won by 2 and Cinci won by 5. And Tulsa coming off of a close 2 point loss to an athletic Central Florida team. Cincinnati the better team but 14 is a boat load of points.
My Pick: Tulsa +14

I finally righted the ship with an easy winner on Central Florida -11 last night. Keeping it in the AAC tonight with Memphis +5. Tigers should be full of confidence after blowing out SMU in their last game and Temple while 14-4 has won their last 5 games by an average of 3.7 points. Also you have to think Memphis offense scoring an eye popping 84 PPG will keep this game tight.
My Pick: Memphis +5

Central Florida hasn't played well in their last two games and barely escaped against Tulsa, but Tulane should be outclassed tonight. Tulane is terrible this year. I'm not afraid of this 11.5 number at all.
My Pick: Central Florida -11.5

The Nets have done well to beat the 76ers and the Suns in their last two outings, however the Nuggets have been red-hot to start the season, especially at home where theyre still a perfect 6-0 with wins over the Warriors, Jazz and Celtics. I think Denver wins this game but Brooklyn does enough to keep it closer than double digits. I'll take the 10 points with Brooklyn tonight and both of these teams rank in top 10 defensively and both are in bottom 1/3 offensively, so the UNDER 212 is worth a look.

The Charlotte Hornets have looked much better in their last 2 games but that's probably more of a function of the level of competition they played. The Philadelphia 76ers play their best ball by far at home and are slowly looking like they're getting more comfortable after a shaky start to the season. I'm just not big on the Hornets and think it's only a matter of time before this improved play comes to an end. I'll lay the reasonable number with the 76ers at home tonight.

Money coming in on NC State, I still think 3 TD win is doable.

Seattle has the NFLs most improved offensive line. It looks like an entirely different unit, especially on the ground, and I expect to see Seattle go run heavy against this Chargers defense today. LA has looked good at times this year and there is every reason to believe it will be a close game, but Seattles offensive line has been terrific, and it should be able to bulldoze enough holes for Chris Carson to secure the win and cover.

The Lions have a balanced offense and emerging running game led by Kerryon Johnson, but they cant stop the run and just traded away their most productive receiver. The Vikings reached the NFC championship game last year and I think they are actually better this year than last year, even though it doesn't show in their record. They have two dangerous receivers, an above-average quarterback and a ferocious pass rush that will be tough for this Detroit Lions team to handle. Minny at home and this spread is only 5? Yes please.

All things considered, this should be a pretty fun matchup. Im going to go with OK State to keep rolling though as they should have plenty of confidence after their big win over Texas last weekend. I see Baylor competing here as they have the offense to put up points against this mediocre Oklahoma State defense. I predict a close game for 2 quarters and then Ok State opens it up in the 2nd Half. 1 TD to cover? Give me Oklahoma State.

I think Kansas got the attention of Iowa State with their upset of TCU, but I wouldn't look too much into that win over the Frogs, because TCU hasn't been good all year and was without their two best players last weekend. Prior to the TCU game, Kansas was blown out by Texas Tech and Iowa State beat Texas Tech by 9 points. Iowa State is feeling it right now and I don't think they let off the gas, I'll lay the points with the Iowa State Cyclones as they should be able to win this one by 3 TD's or more today.

Brad Keller is going for the KC Royals tonight and he has been nails in his last 3 starts, only giving up 4 runs in 22 innings. Keller is better than Musgrove and it's a head scratcher as to why Vegas has Pittsburgh as such a heavy fav in this one.
Kansas City Royals +159 (BET OF THE DAY!)
My Pick: Kansas City +159
