One Bronco Nation Under God: Wake Up, Bronco Nation: Basketball schedules; Basketball coaching; Some more running
My wife gave me a list of things she'd like to do for her 32nd birthday.
I said no way can we do all of that in 30 seconds.Basketball schedules are going to be pretty decent next year
While the men will be playing a home-and-home with BYU. I would assume this is an on-going thing between the two schools to go with the football matchups.
Well, there is someone that is going to be running in that event. And this person is very good at running and other stuffs.
The squad is starting to assemble here in Boise... Say hello to @emman_akot! #BleedBlue https://t.co/NVjWx7QakZ

What do you call an ancient Egyptian?
An old Giza.
(This was from a Nuggie, Ed. Thanks Ed!)
Two former Broncos make this list. Shouldn't be too much of a surprise but always good to take a look.
Which makes back-to-back appearances at the NCAAs (third-straight post-season appearance). Last year they made it courtesy of winning the league. This year because of their RPI (and just generally being awesome).
Good luck to the Broncos as they face off against Stanford in the regionals. Should be a fun time.
It's not the whole thing but she certainly turns on the jets here.

One Bronco Nation Under God: Wake Up, Bronco Nation: 2020 NBA Draft; Canadian?; Dallas Cowboy draft
In college I was so broke, I couldn't pay the electricity bill.
Those were the darkest days of my life.2020 NBA Mock drafts are being put together
And look what we have here:
New 2020 mock NBA Draft from ESPN's Jonathan Givony and Mike Schmitz has Boise State forward Derrick Alston going No. 45 in Round 2 to the Sacramento Kings.-- B.J. Rains (@BJRains) April 25, 2019
Which kind of sucks because that means he leaves early. But hopefully he will have a monster season that warrants it.
Idaho Statesmen: It was one of the best shots in NBA playoff history. And it has a Boise State connection.
Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard celebrates after Game 5 of an NBA basketball first-round playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, in Portland, Ore. The Trail Blazers won 118-115. Craig Mitchelldyer AP
It is tough to think of many big-time shots in NBA playoff history quite like the one Portland's Damian Lillard made Tuesday night.
The Blazers, down by 15 at home with 7 minutes left and leading the series 3-1, clawed their way back to a tie in the final seconds. Then, Lillard, sublime in the playoffs thus far, casually sank a 37-footer at the buzzer for a 118-115 win.
One Bronco Nation Under God: Wake Up, Bronco Nation: UNR's new coach; Sports Illustrated redraft; Bronco softball
What do you call a guy with kids in Holland?
Not really going to link to any article, but they hired a MWC retread in Steve Alford (former UCLA and UNM coach).
But I will link this:
Active Mountain West coaches:
Career overall wins:
1. 587 Steve Alford, Nevada
2. 187 Leon Rice, Boise State
Career MW wins (regular season MW games only):
1. 88 Leon Rice, Boise State
2. 68 Steve Alford, Nevada (all 68 wins while at UNM)
3. 46 Dave Pilipovich, Air Force #mwbb-- Geoff Grammer (@GeoffGrammer) April 12, 2019
What with UNR's recent transfers going on, Alford is going to have some issues just on the court.
Idaho Statesman: Cowboys show him the money: Lawrence, ex-Boise State great, reportedly gets $105M deal
Check out some highlights from Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence's career at Boise State. (Video courtesy of Boise State) By
The stalemate between defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence and the Dallas Cowboys lasted longer than both probably liked, but the result made for some happy people Friday.
According to multiple reports, Lawrence, who played in college at Boise State, has agreed to a five-year, $105 million deal with the Cowboys. That makes him the third-highest-paid defensive player in the NFL based on average salary, behind only the Bears' Khalil Mack and Rams' Aaron Donald.
Also being reported is the contract contains $65 million in guaranteed money, with $31.
Already back in the lab... #BleedBlue https://t.co/7RiuCEP9DV
Idaho Statesman: Leon Rice's alma mater finds its coach; both Boise State basketball teams return a ton
Washington State had a vacancy to coach its men's basketball team, and that of course meant Leon Rice's name came up. After all, the Boise State coach interviewed for the job the last time it was open.
However, the Cougars hired San Francisco's Kyle Smith, which again puts the focus back on the Broncos, who should return a ton of talent along with their coach. On this week's 208 Podcast, we discussed the news, along with plenty more from March Madness. They also look at the Boise State women, who are loaded for bear once again after an overtime loss in the NCAA Tournament.
